About Us

Who We Are

Omran is a national Sudanese non-profit organization working at the heart of communities affected by conflict, fragility, and protracted crises. It emerged in response to Sudan’s urgent need for high-impact humanitarian and development interventions grounded in local knowledge, contextual understanding, and ethical commitment. At Omran, we transform deep-rooted challenges into opportunities for recovery and resilience. Our integrated approach combines emergency relief, social cohesion, sustainable development, good governance strengthening, and the promotion of human rights. We believe that rebuilding societies starts from within—from people, their capacities, and their aspirations for the future.
